De-Junking Your Junk Drawer

If you're like our family, you have more than one junk drawer occupying space in your kitchen. Here's how we tamed two of ours.

  • After taking everything out and removing the items that could be stored elsewhere, I was left with a surprisingly small amount of necessities that fit nicely in this junk drawer organizer by Made Smart®. I purchased mine at K-Mart but this and similar products can also be found at Amazon.com and other local and online retailers.

  • Our second junk drawer proved to be a bigger challenge because its contents consisted of coasters, checkbooks, notepads, and other large items that would not fit in traditional junk drawer compartments.
